Apostle Dr. Carl Welliver, PhD the founding Pastor and General Overseer had a clear vision that the Church of Faith would become an Internet Ministry; a Church Without Walls. The church has experienced steady growth over the past years, and furthered its mission of recruiting and ordaining ministers throughout the world to spread the Good Word of God. Through our affiliation with Havesttime International and The Sure Theological Institute we are pleased to welcome you to the Church of Faith Bible College. We offer both credit and non-credit courses enabling you to improve your walk with God. We also offer the following free Bible Study resource so you can learn at your own pace. Supporting Our Ministry
As a church, we have made the conscious decision not to file for IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
Over the years we have been involved in the Charitable Contributions debate.
As a church, we have made the conscious decision not to file for IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
This decision is based on the fact that churches are tax-exempt just by their existence and protected by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
Churches (including integrated auxiliaries and conventions or associations of churches) that meet the requirements of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code are automatically considered tax-exempt and are not required to apply for and obtain recognition of exempt status from the IRS.
Donors are allowed to claim a charitable deduction for donations to a church that meets the section 501(c)(3) requirements even though the church has neither sought nor received IRS recognition that it is tax-exempt. In addition, because churches and certain other religious organizations are not required to file an annual return or notice with the IRS, they are not subject to automatic revocation of exemption for failure to file.
